Many projects require a thorough consideration of all relevant information which is in the public domain. We use both local (CD-ROM based) databases and internet searches to locate such information and use this (supplemented by QSAR) to replace new testing wherever possible. Frequently we can locate much of the information needed for initial safety assessment or classification and labelling from such literature searches.
